Sagal Fish Market is one of the seafood markets listed in Bronx, New York. The business is registered at 3438 Jerome Ave, Bronx, NY 10467; use this page to check its hours, phone number and Google rating before you make the trip. Store size varies enormously, from a small corner grocery with a few aisles to a full supermarket chain location in Bronx with a bakery, seafood counter and food court under one roof. Sales and promotions are often posted in-store or in a weekly flyer rather than online, so prices listed on a website may be out of date. Seafood markets sell live and on-ice product and can usually clean or prepare fish on request for a small fee. Specialty food stores in New York may focus narrowly on one category, like a butcher, a rice and dry goods shop, or an import store, so calling ahead to confirm stock for a specific item saves a wasted trip.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 10 am–6 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (718) 618-7074. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, sagalfishmarket.com.

Bronx is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Bronx is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The seafood itself here is good. However, the cooked seafood has disappeared me twice. First time I had some shrimp and vegetable streamed. ( I had to tell them to take it out of the steamer but it was already over cooked). Second I tried the seafood combo ( which was also over cooked and dry). The scallops are fish-cake, the whiting is cut into smaller pieces.

When I need my seafood fix, mi an lie, mi love this place, their clean and and I enjoy the place, it simple go to the back and pickup what you want, get it weighed and tell them that you want it steam, it on 2 dollars or so more and bring your food to the front and tell the cool guy how much seasoning you want, most times it ready in 10 min depending on what you ordered... fry stuff just order at the front (see the window it stocked).
